Never got to Stellenbosch yesterday. MBH contracted a mother of colds, so the children went on their own while I stayed home to fulfill the role of the clumsy nurse. My reward is that I am currently fighting against a similar attack. Oh well, let me wait and see what the fickle finger of fate will bring about.
In lieu of Stellenbosch photos a few more taken at Kirstenbosch two days ago. I look upon them as merely completing the picture.
Two more statues : men working
Working the soil
Carrying a heavy load
No matter where you are in Kirstenbosch this little stream is always soothing to the eye.
Foam on the water
Here a spider web on the statue of the cheetah catching the impala at the main entrance (see the Sunny Day post) I captured
More flora
A Cycad
A Silver Leaf Tree
and this beauty, a Chasmenthe
That then for today, enjoy what is left of it, meanwhile I will prepare for the coming weekend’s cold.

That Silver Leaf tree is so elegant. Lovey photos, newsy.
Speedy recovery and stay healthy wishes!
*holding hankie in front of mouth and nose to ward off infection* Get well soon – lovely pics as usual!
Hoping that cold doesn’t get you! Or, you get over it soonest!
